An NYPD cop charged with soliciting X-rated photos from at least 46 underage girls allegedly looked at child porn while on duty — and told his then-partner that he was having sex with a 13-year-old, according to federal prosecutors.

Brooklyn Officer Carmine Simpson, 26, is accused of revealing his sick predilections to a former patrol-duty partner in 2019.

“The defendant told Officer-1, in sum and substance, that he was having intercourse with the 13-year-old female pictured in one of the photos that he had in his phone and that this girl lived in a nearby state,” wrote prosecutor Megan Farrell in a motion Thursday opposing Simpson’s renewed bid for bail.

“The defendant was routinely texting and viewing child pornography on his cellular telephone while he was at work,” she added in the papers filed in Central Islip federal court.

The revelations come after Simpson’s arrest Jan. 28 for allegedly using Twitter and other social-media platforms to target minors and convince them to send him sexually explicit — and often violent — pictures and videos of themselves.

Sometimes, the cop posed as a 17-year-old boy to engage underage girls in graphic conversations, then encouraged them to choke and hit themselves — and send him videos of the degrading acts, according to court papers.

Simpson, who had been assigned to the 75th Precinct in East New York, allegedly asked the unnamed former partner whether he liked to use his gun during sex, Farrell wrote.

“Thereafter, the defendant removed his loaded firearm from his holster and stated, in substance, while still driving, that the firearm was powerful and could make girls do anything,” prosecutors alleged in the documents.

During a hearing Friday, defense lawyer Todd Greenberg said his client was “absolutely shocked” by the latest allegations and denied them in full.

Greenberg urged US District Judge Denis Hurley to release Simpson to home confinement with electronic monitoring on a $500,000 bond — secured by his parent’s home and $100,000 in cash.

The lawyer argued that Simpson, due to his status as a cop, was being held in protective custody in “intolerable conditions” at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

He has been denied showers, warm food and personal phone calls, the lawyer said.

But Farrell countered that Simpson is “an extremely dangerous person” who was committing his alleged crimes “on the job” and while living at home with his parents in Holbrook, LI.

“The risk to the community is extreme,” she said.

The judge agreed, rejecting Simpson’s proposed bail package.

During the hearing, Simpson entered a not-guilty plea through his lawyer to an indictment charging him with eight counts of the sexual exploitation of a minor and three counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

If convicted of the top charge, he faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison.
