Video shows broad daylight shooting on NYC street

The moment a gunman opened fire at a man during a fight on a Brooklyn street Tuesday afternoon was captured on video footage that was released by police Tuesday.

A 21-year-old man was targeted in the brazen, broad daylight shooting at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 87th Street in Bay Ridge at about 1 p.m., according to the police.

The man had been in a dispute with two other men when one of them pulled out a gun and began firing, according to police.

The 21-year-old was not struck by gunfire, police said.

Surveillance footage provided by the NYPD shows the man desperately running away while the suspect shoots.

The duo fled westbound towards 4th Avenue in a gray sedan.

No arrests had been made by late Tuesday.

Police say the shooting occurred at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 87th Street in Bay Ridge.
The 21-year-old man ran away unharmed from the gunman.
