Deion Sanders hosted model Brittany Renner for a speech to his Jackson State football players advising them not to avoid transactional relationships.
The meeting took place in October, with video released by Sanders and Renner on Instagram this week.
“Naturally, if you play a sport, that’s an incentive to talk to you,” Renner said. “A lot of times women, men in general. Everybody wants something. Even if we have our own thing going on, it’s like me being with you is good because you boost my stock. I boost your stock. It’s that simple.”
Renner, introduced to thunderous applause, told the team that her DMs are “like a Nike store” in that they’re full of famous people with blue checkmarks like rappers and athletes.
“It’s a give-and-take but you have to be aware of what you’re signing up for,” she said. “You’re trying to make it to the NFL. You do understand there’s a lot that comes with that, right? To be able to decipher who really loves you for you, I think that’s the billion dollar question we’re all wanting to know.
“Nobody is here for nothing. It’s just about figuring out who can be here in times of adversity.”
Renner, posting on her own account, shared a video where she talked about infidelity.
“4 months post breakup, this video shot in October was the first time I was able to admit to people outside of my inner circle that I was lied to and cheated on which is one of the many reasons why I left,” she wrote.
“I cried almost every single day for months because not only was I embarrassed, I was so disappointed in the person I believed in. To be thrown to the wolves with tweets saying I was faking it all along was the most hurtful thing about this whole ordeal. I’m a lot of things but A LIAR HAS NEVER BEEN ONE!!! I’m free now 🕊 Thank you GOD I didn’t get the things I thought I wanted! The stars are aligning.”
Deion Sanders led Jackson State to a 10-1 record this season, including 8-0 in SWAC conference play. It is a safe bet that he will be in line for a major Power Five conference job, should he wish to leave Jackson State, in the coming years.
Paris Hilton broke down in tears this week as she testified to a panel of Utah politicians about being chronically abused at a boarding school there. “My name is Paris Hilton. I’m an institutional-abuse survivor,” the 39-year-old socialite told a state
