Superb staff, great value, and very professionally managed. Bathrooms are cleaned once a week, so you don't have to rely on your filthy roomies to pull their own weight, and the house rules help keep everything in a nice state of symbiosis.

Cairns Sharehouse is by far the best place to stay in Cairns (even if you are just staying a couple of weeks!!). The quality of living is so much more than the hostel life and it is cheaper than the hostel. They also have the cleanest houses I have seen and people are always there to help if something is not working. Not-to-mention the staff are amazing! They have made my stay in Cairns so amazing because of their kindness and clear care for their guests. Thanks a million!

-It’s a perfect place to live for short term, it’s between hostel backpackers and sharehouse for local people. I am staying at 8 Loeven street, girls only accomodation and it’s really nice place with pool. It’s clean, you have cleaners every week. They matchmake, they try to find the best flatmates and it’s working because i am doing things with my lovely flatmates every week end ! It’s a family business, so they are really nice, they do the best they can to help you. And it’s really close to the city, maybe 4 mins by bike and so close to Cairns Central where you have all the shop and supermarket. I definitely recommend to live with Cairns Sharehouse, it’s best place to live in Cairns when you are travelling and make friends for life  :)
