If you have a Frequent Flyer card with Qantas you can earn points when you book Sandalford Estate Winery Restaurant through them. There is a lovely bar area opposite the dining area where you can sample certain wines and if your dining in the restaurant, sampling is free. When we went they had great discounts on wine packs, of your choosing, .plus if your dining and added discount on top of that again The restaursnt was quaint, the service professional but, in all honesty, I cant remember the meal. Its too long ago since Ive been. I can only say it was palatable.

We had a sensational afternoon at this winery, food and service was outstanding, as was the tasting experience. The outdoor area amongst 130 yr old vines with views over the vineyard was really pleasant, highly recommend.

Good wines, great service, wonderful grounds and close to the river. Restaurant has quality food and produce with a price to match, not too expensive but you'll get what you pay for. Their Dégustation dinners, if you can manage to secure a seat, is fantastic. A great night out.
