Just wanting to let people know what a great service the people @ Australian Hearing Marion have given my mum. They have always gone above & beyond in customer service with a very personal feel especially when I burst into tears while paying an account for my mother as my father had just passed away. The compassion & caring I was shown is why I have written this review as it is hard to find good customer with a good product to assist those with hearing problems
I went in for a hearing test, got told my hearing was above average. I went home, was not convinced, so then I went to the GP then ENT. The ENT told me I was dipping to hearing loss in my right ear, which was what I was experiencing. Both the ENT and GP (which I had gone to before) used a tuning fork as part of the hearing assessment, and seemed to be surprised that the audiologist at Australian Hearing didn't. The GP expressed skepticism at the legitimacy of the test at Australia hearing marion too, since the results were not presented in a format the ENT and the GP had expected. There may be a good explanation for the discrepancies between the diagnoses. Nevertheless, these were my experiences. Take from that what you will.
