I took my dog to Kepala's indoor pool for the first time about 5 years ago because she had had surgery...and we have gone once a week ever since! She no longer needs to swim for rehabilitation purposes, but it is an amazing way to keep her fit. The indoor pool at Kepala is perfect size and you can plan structured swimming sessions like I do, or let your dog have a more playful swim. The initial sessions is with an instructor who teaches you how to make your dog feel comfortable and confident in the water. There are also life vests available for the dogs who aren't great swimmers. Once you've had a session with the instructor you can pay to have the pool reserved for just you and your dog. It has become a peaceful Sunday routine for us. The staff is super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The pool area is well planned and clean and there are showers to give your dog a rinse after being in the chlorine. Swimming is great exercise for dogs, especially the heavier breeds that usually put a lot of weight on their joints. Actually, I can't imagine a dog that would not benefit from it.

Looked after our little man so well we could not ask for anything more. 3 plays a day, nice sized rooms with bedding and blankets, secure and air conditioned, swims in the lagoon, happily the staff take on any special requirements.... and the true test was our boy didn't want to get inn the car to come home!! Next holiday is in thre planning already.... :)

My dog loves the outdoor pool at Kepala. I wish they had boarding kennels with individual runs.
