Parking is challenging. Bit expensive, considering it is just for a movie. Seats were good. It was fun to take in alcohol & cheese board, however getting said items took 15 minutes. Staff said they would 'be just a minute' but she disappeared, never to be seen again. Definitely understaffed on the bar. Air con was too cold, so bring a jacket if you're sensitive to temperature.

I came here to watch the latest Star wars movie and fell in love with this place. The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff incredibly helpful. And even the snack bar had all my old favourites. Definitely coming back when I'm next in Canberra.

A beutiful cinema meant for adults. There is a bar and cafe, the cinemas are well maintained and comfortable, and no teenagers talking or on their phones during the film. The Palace also screens a great range of arthouse and festival films, as well as Hollywood. Highly recommended if you love film.

This business has no concept of customer service. My partner and I went to the movies, assuming that Tuesday would be discounted in some way. At the ticket desk we were charged $40 for two adult tickets. Only on the way out can you see the sign which says "members $7.50." My partner is a member but we were never asked. My partner then decided to get a glass of wine. Standing at the bar we were completely ignored for an inordinate amount of time (no one else was waiting) while the only staff member made a bread platter. At no stage did they say "won't be a minute" or similar, which left us thinking we were standing in the wrong place and would not be served. We get to the cinema to quite possibly the tiniest screen I've ever seen. I'm not sure where all the high ratings for this place come from but it certainly wasn't the same cinema I went to. Just woeful.

A lovely cinema for grownups with regular film festivals that set it apart from other blockbuster-focused movie theatres. The bar and the snacks menu are also excellent.
