Nice little bowling alley. Better to phone up for a booking in advance. We was lucky and got a booking when we walked in. The pins are on strings. The drinks are reasonably priced.
Great fun. We went when it was quiet but can imagine it being quite noisy and crowded during peak times. Helpful and friendly staff. Wheelchair friendly with bowling ramps and bumper bowling for kids.
Not a lot of lanes to bowl in, but there are pool tables and games to play whilst you wait. Not the cheapest drinks but the combination of drinking and bowling is amazing. The staff are incredible and really seem to love their jobs. Would highly recommend for a great time.
My girlfriend and I had a couple of drinks and a pizza - great pizza! - and just sat and enjoyed the music playing via the state of the art jukebox system. We loved the whole look of the place: the lights, the decor, the whole feel. The owner / operators are incredibly friendly people too. We didn't actually bowl, but none the less we really enjoyed the time we spent here. Definitely coming back next time we're on the Coast.
Went along for a bowl for our sons birthday (7) at 10:30am on a Sunday. Had 10 people booked in. At first they had us split but that was resolved. Had a rather drunk couple of dads with kids next to us swearing and being generally racist and obnoxious (wonder which dad was driving them all home?). Was pondering should report it to the staff but figured they had served them and the older guy on staff left and there was just a young girl there behind the counter. Bowling was fun but cramped. Asked if we could do our birthday cake etc after we finished. They said there is a charge. That's all good but we just spend $200 on bowling... So we went across the road and had lunch there instead and they didn't have a problem with the cake. Probably a top spot to have a few beers and a roll in most circumstances. Maybe we just got unlucky with the pissed bogans.
