About the business
McDonald's is an American fast food company, founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald, in San Bernardino, California, United States. They rechristened their business as a hamburger stand, and later turned the company into a franchise, with the Golden Arches logo being introduced in 1953 at a location in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1955, Ray Kroc, a businessman, joined the company as a franchise agent and proceeded to purchase the chain from the McDonald brothers. McDonald's had its original headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois, but moved its global headquarters to Chicago in early 2018.
The siblings Richard and Maurice McDonald opened in 1940 the first McDonald's at 1398 North E Street at West 14th Street in San Bernardino, California but it was not the McDonald's recognizable today; Ray Kroc made changes to the brothers' business to modernize it.

I have to say, we visited this location on September 29th around 4:30pm and instantly we were greeted by Daniel. Hands down, this man is by far the best McDonald's employee I have ever come across. He was helpful from the minute we walked in the door and for the rest of our visit. He NEEDS to be recognized. Please do if possible.

Sometimes McDonalds is the only thing open. That was the case when I ate here really early on a Sunday morning. The staff was great and in a super good mood considering how early it was. Coffee was good, food was okay. What can you say about McDonald's? It's ubiquitous. The staff that this location is what made my morning.

This is the perfect place for kids to blow off steam while the parents can socialize, enjoy coffee or anything else... we make a point of going to "playplace" everytime we are in the city... only critique would be to have healthier options :) maybe even vegetarian!

Kind of 50/50 if they get your order right and if it's not old food.
