Starbucks

About the business

Starbucks Corporation is an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain. Starbucks was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971. As of early 2019, the company operates over 30,000 locations worldwide.

History

The first Starbucks opened in Seattle, Washington, on March 31, 1971, by three partners who met while they were students at the University of San Francisco: English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker were inspired to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment by coffee roasting entrepreneur Alfred Peet after he taught them his style of roasting beans.

They always all seem so rude and have limited patience. Asked how many oz were in a mug once and he had no idea and when i finally said what i thought it was he continued to tell me i wasnt right when he clearly had no idea himself. Put me right off of buying it or any beverage.

Small Starbucks - inside a Chapters. Decent seating and the service is usually quick.

Good location, can be slow for service. Specialty drinks aren't as good as other Starbucks.

Absolutely love this location. It is much closer to where I live than other locations. The staff is wonderful! The first time I went, they had samples of a new drink which we tried and LOVED (got hooked). It also has a drive thru which is perfect when you need a quick drink on the way home, plus it's 24 hours so that quick grab can happen at ANY time!! The staff is always friendly and I've never had a problem with any orders going wrong. I love how there is lots of space to sit inside or outside. I also like that this location never seems to be packed so I get my orders quickly.
