Good for the money. If you are not willing to spend lots to stay in Whistler, that's a very good option. Very close to Vancouver and Whistler. Less than 10min away from a great park/lake. Very basic accommodation, no frills accommodations. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cons: small rooms, no AC (during summer, it got really hot). The bar people talk about was being renovated, so I guess we were lucky in that sense.

Highly recommended! REALLY fast wifi in every room. Clean, comfortable, safe, enjoyable stay. Staff was super friendly. Stayed 4 nights to avoid camping in the rain, wish we could have stayed longer! Bonus: they have a sweet DVD library that includes Vertical Limit. What more could you ask for?

First I will start with the good: 1. It was clean 2. Close to Whistler Thats about all the good I can say, the bad: 1. Room above bar is not just "noisy", you will have your vertebrae rocked til 2AM with intense bass from down below. 2. Room smelled like mold. 3. Felt like the place was dishonest, as they lied about the true extent of the room above the bar. Then we re-booked for a room not above the bar and was told it would be $15 more. Well they charged $30 more, then after confronting them about it they dropped it down to $24, still not $15. 4. Parking was non-existent if you showed up after dinner time.
