Friendly hosts. Ignore other reviews, if you're rude to them just move along. I actually loved the portable fire pits. 30$ for the pit for your whole stay and 3 large bags of well seasoned wood. Brought a 32' trailer and had no problem parking in the wide stall. People complain of traffic cause close to main roads... Lol, wow, you're here for the sights and the kids love it. You want to be secluded in your own world go find the backwoods. Full service sites and lots of them. City water so it's tested and drinkable. Reserved the morning of and no problems, close to shops, go walk and see a bit of the town. My first day i know it will be a blast.

This campground is OK. I have been in better and have been in worse. Firearms are 11 bucks for pit and one bag of wood, and after that if you have your own wood there is no extra cost. If the lawn cutting and general cleaning was better kept up it would-be a better campground. I also think the mini golf and showers should be free.

Overall it is a great place. My wife, myself, and our children have been coming here since 2003. Facility is well maintained, the people are friendly, and traffic is usually slow and quiet. Stayed in tents and trailers. You get the occasional hotrodder, but police are usually on top of it. As for the fire wood and the pit, yeah, could do without the rental of the pit and maybe cheaper firewood (Like $5 per bag and get the fire pit free). Otherwise, really nothing negative to say. Close to stores, and the splash park. We usually stay 2 times a year and the kids really enjoy it. Would have been 5 stars if not for the firewood and fire pits.

My kids loved camping here and so did we. We will for sure be going back.
