Silver Lake Rental Cottage | A lakeside rental cabin for fishing, relaxing, storytelling and feasting!

Double Bed. The cottage sleeping accommodates  5  people. i.e. One double bed downstairs and one double upstairs and a single. Any additional guests could be accommodated on a pull out single chesterfield. You would need linen for these beds. Maximum occupancy would be 5 people. Other guests : We have no objections to you having additional friends and family staying over with you. You will be responsible for them. Please advise us of their names in case of any emergencies. We cannot provide additional sleeping facilities. PS: We purchased 2 new double beds in 2013. YOUR VACATION Congratulations! You have decided on the days or weeks you would like to holiday at our cottage. In July and August we rent out weekly from Friday to Friday. Proceed in this manner. Send an email or phone us to confirm that the dates have not been promised to others pending financial arrangements. Click Submit We will  return a confirmation email  subject to the information below. We will hold the cottage in your name for 10 days after we have an email/verbal rental agreement. This is to allow the mail system time to deliver your cheque. Should we not hear or receive any money, the cottage will be rented to any other vacationer who requests it. Rental Fees Weekly Rental:  $920.00 plus 13 %HST tax ( $1039.60 Propane for BBQ and use of kayaks and a canoe are included in the weekly rent. Terms:  Deposit: $460.00 + HST 59.80 = $519.80  (cash or cheque) at time of booking. Final rental payment: $460.00 + HST 59.80 = $519.80 (cash or cheque ) Sixty Days prior to start of rental. We accept cheques or electronic money transfers through your bank. Please phone to advise us of the password you will be using. We do not take credit or debit cards . When using cheques make it payable to Doug Steele. Mail the following: Deposit reservation cheque. Final rental payment cheque dated 60 days prior to stay. Security deposit cheque  of $200.00 dated for end at your stay. Security cheque will be held as a damage deposit  and returned to   you after an  inspection of the cottage at the end of your stay reveals only normal wear and tear . Last Minute Rentals: Rentals arranged within 60 days prior to taking occupancy will require payment in full on completion of the rental agreement. Should there not be time for normal mail delivery and cheque processing only cash will be accepted. Three Day– Two night  Rentals Package: Weekend rental reservations (spring and fall) that are made in advance will require payment in full. (Arrival 4p.m. to Depart 5p.m.) $450.00 + HST $58.50= $508.50 Cancellation and Refund Policy Cancellation and refunds  may be made up until May 01, less a $50.00 administration fee. After May 01, for the current year’s vacation season, the deposit will be forfeited or you could trade for another available vacation period equivalent in the same calendar year. If no vacation periods are available and we can rent the cottage in your forfeited time period your money will be returned minus the administration fee. PS: Autumn bookings rates are discounted 25%.
