The patio bar is awesome and they always have some neat beers on tap (usually 4-6 beers on tap). Food selection is modest but what they have is very good. The cook is amazing! I had the pickerel with pesto and loved it. I still wish they had the pickerel tacos from last year but oh well. Our server was a bit grumpy and overwhelmed. This place could get some better management.... ( this is my 4th year coming here and it's always hit or miss on waitstaff). People love this place because of the food and atmosphere but it always seems like the front line staff is not able or equipped to meet customer needs. I also wish they would build the lodge back, I would probably recommend this as "the place" to stay in parry sound if they had breakfast and a screened on deck but it seems incomplete... I recommend trying this place once, park up by the road and walk down the dirt road for fastest access or come by boat. No one will help you Dock but it's never too wavy in the narrows. If you need breakfast drive the 5 minutes to Orrs, you will thank me later.

It was great. The kitchen staff really bring it above and beyond.

Went to the Patio restaurant for dinner. I had the pickerel tacos. The food was just OK, nothing amazing. Portion sizes are good. The prices are rather steep for what you get. Not much in the way of vegetarian options on the menu (only a few salads, which to be fair are enormous), no vegan options. Beer selection is modest. The service on the night we went was very slow, and the kitchen staff did not seem particularly with it. We were the only people in the place and our food still took nearly an hour to arrive. Towards the end of our meal the staff seemed to be relaxing. It negatively impacted our service somewhat (server seemed preoccupied with the rest of the staff). I know it was the end of the season but I was still rather unimpressed with this restaurant. Not sure if the kitchen staff were their regulars or temps (they were very young), so that may have played a factor. I wouldn't recommend going here unless there are significant improvements to service.
