Great experience. Costs about $20 per adult which may seem expensive but worth it since it takes money to keep things going. Always try calling before going to verify if they are open because the weather can be a factor in their tours. We had to wait about a half hour for the tram ride, there is no schedule per say for that, they just wait until they have enough people for a tour. Thankfully there is a gift shop and local vendors for entertainment as well as benches while you wait. Once you get on the tram you ride down a giant sink hole to the entrance. It's a paved path and there is a flight of stairs to go down but I believe they have an elevator available as well for that part. Audio tour with a guide to add in info and make sure no one gets lost. Our guide didn't rush us and we enjoyed ourselves immesely. The views were stunning and not like any experience I've done before. If you haven't gotten to experience caves before and would love to then I definitely recommend it. Paved path all the way through and rails to hold onto for the steep parts as the path can be slippery. Took us about 3 hours for this experience start to finish.
The park is an extremely interesting place. The cave is so interesting that my kids loved it from the beginning to the end. Nelly was specially helpful and courteous! Her crew was awesome! Camuy River Cave is an excellent cave tutorial that everybody, kids and adults, will enjoy. Oh, don't forget to grab some tasty icecream (the cake flavor one is spectacular!) Very recommended!!!
We visited the caves a couple of weeks ago. It was amazing. I've been to PR almost every year, but this is by far the best attraction. A few hints & tips: 1.The trolley wait time takes a bit. There's no schedule for it, it all depends on how fast the guide can move the people along the trail. Don't get annoyed. 2. The trolley ride itself is an amazing drive down a sinkhole. 3. The tour guide is there to move you along and make sure no one is left behind. There's other people waiting to get in, so they are a bit pushy and I felt like I didn't get enough time to let the stunning views sink in even after being down there for an hour. 4. It's an audio tour, but honestly, don't get upset if it doesn't work.Read all about at home first. I spent my time working my camera, taking in the views and listening to all the bats. 5. People complain that it is costly. It may be compared to other parks in the U.S. but since I know PR, I appreciate that the park is kept clean and safe. And also, the sinkhole is so stunning you'll forget about the cost. 6. There's a limit to how many people can go in. Get there early or find a phone number and check. 7. If it's raining it could be dangerous and it might be closed down. This place is really stunning. At times I found myself thinking a boulder would fall on me. It is a natural cave. It was really cool.
So we have our number 774-777 for 4 ppl. They called for number before 790 something to go for the tour, and when it come for us there is just no seats for us... no kidding... what's the point for having the number??!! Another half of an hour wait. Very bad management. I would recommend wait in front of the line if possible.

Taking this tour was good. My wife and I both enjoyed the history and views from the inside out. I recommend to do this even if it's just once.
