We had lunch at Pamela's. Two stars only because it is one of very very few places right on the beach! Location is really great! Hard to beat!!! You can dine on your beach table and chair or in the seating area right outside. Having said that... I would only get a drink here because service was extremely slow. We waited about 30-40 minutes for two burgers. By the time we left the place which was in another 20 minutes the table next to us (party of 8) was still missing one meal and they ordered before us even. The food itself is nothing special or great. It is just ok if anything needs to be said. Our burgers were super dry and very well done (no one asked us how we wanted them anyways - i thought they would arrive medium by default) Took about 10 minutes to pay in the end as well. Service was just way too slow. Also when you get the check there is a line of "suggested gratuity" which is not really "suggested" because it is already added in the bill total. I wonder if I asked it to be adjusted the staff would do it since it says it is only suggested?!? But anyways, I'm not the type of person to get in little quarrels with the staff who was generally very nice. But that's was another bad impression. So whoever is managing this place - change the kitchen staff and educate your wait staff to be more efficient. You have a gem of a location, but not utilizing it properly!

great location on the beach. really fun to each right on the beach. The food was decent but not that most amazing food in the area. Hard to beat the view.

I wish I could give them more stars! Top notch service and food. Me and my wife went here for a honeymoon dinner on the beach and they delivered a presentation better than we could have ever imagined. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for us. We would advise anyone in the area to try Pamela's!!!

We tried this place because of a local recommendation and was told the fried grouper was a must have before leaving, in addition to favorable Yelp reviews. Well the grouper is a "special" and just happened to be unavailable that evening. No biggie. When we asked about a halibut instead we were told "it wasn't ready, maybe later" and when asked what came with the "vegetables" we were told "green beans" and a few other bits. Our vegetables ended up just being sauteed mushrooms, we had to asked what happened and we were just told "The Chef said they weren't good". They did try and make up for it by bringing out some mashed potatoes instead but they didn't ask and our kiddos won't eat them. Our Churrasco beef skewers came out cold and had to be sent back to be rewarmed. Ultimately we needed to settle on our menu choices instead of what we wanted and it was still a VERY spendy meal, we did spend quite a bit for time without water refills and no concessions were offered despite a higher-than-usual number of problems with our visit. I settled on a 39 dollar ribeye that came out a little more than 1/2 inch thick and perhaps 16oz, ordered medium rare but was blue-rare in some parts. Our check here was easily $450 for 6 adults and 3 kids under 4, the food was chain-quality. For the money there is NO possible way I'd ever send anyone here. This one shining quality was the complimentary bread and herb-butter, although I'm sure you need to order something else on the menu to get the bread and butter so also get a drink to dull some of the regret.

We loved this place! The food was perfect! I actually took notes and tried my best to duplicate the meal. I didn't do too bad but it wasn't as good as Pamela's! We must come back again and this time we'll stay here!
