This is a nice well ventilated place to chill and have some sea food. Service was a little slow but the food compensated the service. I had fried calamari and garlic shrimp. They were well cooked and juicy. Recommend if you are looking to share food with friends and continue exploring San Juan.

If you are looking for the Old San Juan feel this is your place. I meet up with a few friends here around 8:30pm on a Friday night and we where the only customers. I also walked by this place around 12:30 am on Saturday night and it was also empty. So I am not sure if they are on their way out or what. The starters are around $10-$15 and the main courses are around $23-26 each. My friends ordered some shrimp, mushroom risotto and fried calamari. The risotto was great but the rest was just ok and not worth the price. They may have a few dishes that stand out like their beautiful decor but is it worth your hard earned money? I would like to say the wait staff was very nice but as I said we were the only customers. I hope this helped. If you would like to see other places I have visited please click on my profile.

Out of the first thing each of us ordered. Forgot to bring water. Never came back through the meal to refresh drinks. Food was good but service awful.

Amazing. Ceviche the best I've ever had. Salmon was delicious with the mango sauce. If you're ever in old San Juan you definitely have to stop by El Asador.
