I'm not a big fan of giving out one stars because I am a small business owner and I know how difficult it can be on a day to day basis. But, I can't help but to give these guys one star. Absolutely horrible. Poor signage, unhappy workers, long wait and a filthy car. So we get to the airport, grab our bags, and head over to Hertz. Because of bad signage, and a lack of workers to help, we get in the wrong line. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, we are told to go "inside" and wait on another line. We do. And after finally checking in and advised to wait for a few minutes for the someone to call us, we wait. And wait. And wait for a total of 45 additional minutes. Another family is called up, who checked in after us, after they didn't like the size of their trunk and proceeded to get another car. Was our car ready? Why did this family jump in front of us? After they received their new car, we went back up to the worker. Obviously upset and totally exhausted, we pleaded for our car. Yes, we received it. No we didn't get a proper apology. And yes the car's exterior was filthy! No thanks Hertz. No thanks!!!

Slow paced, if you are in a rush, don't use them. Make sure you agree with the initial inspection, they like to let things slide past and then blame you for them when you come back.

I gave them a 4 only be because the line when I got to the airport, had a extremely high volume of people. My reservation was at 2:00 I stood in line for about 2 hours. Otherwise the car was brand new and I deal for my family. I used the ez pass too through the tolls because you don't have to pay. I also purchased the gas so that I didn't have to replace the gas. That was a convenient thing too. It was easy to drop off and cool.

We get to the airport on Aug 13, 2016. I travel with my special needs daughter in a wheelchair. Service provided by Mr. Roberto Torres was horrible. He cut people on line before us. Then did absolute nothing waiting for his hour and then stand up and walk by leaving us and the huge line after a 45 min wait. Honestly I am ashamed that this unwelcoming service is provided in my country to the tourist. I could say that Mr. Michael Jimenez came in a save the day with a big smile.

I would really give them 0 stars but it doesn't allow me. This is the worst car rental service ever. I asked the employee what time my car had to be returned and he indicated that it had to be returned Sunday for Monday midnight . My confirmation says a certain time and the company gave me a slip with a different time they try to rob you for your money. I returned the car earlier than indicated and when I noticed my credit card I was charged an extra day. I called the 1800 number they give you on the slip and they checked all my info and told me everything was ok that they should have never charged me that extra day. They were trying to revert the charge and give me my money back but they were not able to because it was blocked off I had to call the San Juan office. All the San Juan numbers don't work horrible phone service. I had to contact road side assistance for them to contact the San Juan manager . After explaining to the San Juan manager he refused to help me out. He continued to say I was wrong and that there was nothing he can do because his info says another time. It is not my fault that they have the wrong time when my confirmation has the exact time and date I rented. Manager Torress was very rude and tried implying that I was lying about the time. He had told me that he really can't do anything because he was not there when I spoke to one of his employees. Really I'm lying? The manager needs better customer service skills and needs to learn how to speak to customers and drop the attitude. Never again will I rent a car from them.
