Next time you’re craving a great Cuban plate of food, but you find yourself in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, make your way to Mojito’s Restaurant.
This Cuban-owned restaurant must have a Cuban grandmother in the kitchen cooking up all of their orders… because that’s exactly what it tastes like. You can tell how great a Cuban restaurant is by the quality of the simplest of meals - white rice and black beans. Theirs? Pretty darned great.
While the staff is great, albeit a bit slow at times (Cuban time anyone?), I can’t imagine anyone not loving anything on the menu here. Try it out… you’ll thank me later.

Great place to stop for lunch while exploring the area. Expansive menu with Caribbean and American friendly food. The service was decent, but diminished as lunch business picked up. Walked by around dinner time and was also busy, so you may have to be flexible.
