Wow not sure what happened here today. Our hotel recommended this restaurant for mofongo. The restaurant was full and although we got our drinks and food order in quickly, it took an hour and a half to get our food. The food was decent but certainly not worth that wait. Half our party got their food first and the other half got it 20 minutes later. We witnessed lots of other upset patrons who were upset with the wait as well. There wasn't much of an apology either. Disappointed I didn't have the experience that others here have had.

This restaurant has great food at very reasonable hours. However, it has THE worst service in San Juan. Period. So enjoy the food, but be ready to be served a side of attitude with your meal, IF by some miracle, you manage to get acknowledged by a server.

Great local food at a local price. It's a diner sort of atmosphere, so casual dress, casual service, TV's showing sports, etc. We came late at night and enjoyed a sandwich and tostones that were better than I find anywhere in the US. Squirt bottles of mayoketchu make any dish here great :)
