My review is solely based on our dining experience at the bar. The food was really nice - we only had appetizers though. We really loved the marinated conch. On the down side the service was very slow (I think our order didn't make it into the kitchen because we only ordered crevice and marinated conch - both not very time consuming to prepare) We did get a free cocktail to make up for the great delay though so they get a point for that. They make very nice drinks by the way. The setting is really nice and the architecture/interior of the building are very unique and with good style for the island. All in all El Blok is a place that everyone should visit while in Vieques.

Clean, comfy rooms and friendly staff.
Very conveniently located on the main street. All awesome restaurants and bars are on walking distances, couple of min away. The roof top bar has amazing views of the sea.
My only complain is that temperature control in the room didn't properly work and made it way cooler than required.

It's a modern hotel in Esperanza that is in the middle of the bars and restaurants area. The restaurant served more upscale food than other places in the zone. It has a great location for staying in Vieques

We didn't stay here because they don't allow kids but the owner was SUPER helpful helping us find a place when our condo rental was a bust. We were there at 8pm with no place to stay. Many thanks for her assistance...I forget her name.

I didn't stay at the hotel but I did eat at the restaurant twice during my visit. The food was absolutely amazing! The bar tenders and hotel manager were very friendly and helpful. They offered tips on things to do and where to go. They made us feel very welcome. The drinks are great too!
My husband enjoyed the Rosemary cocktail. We also loved the sword fish, the lobster croquettas, the cod avocado salad, and the guava bread pudding.
