The only renowned higher-education institution in the country. And it's public, so it's an even greater achievement.

To tell you that this may be the best college for you is up to what are your academic/profesional preferences and personal values. For a interdisciplinary person like me, it was the best option in this island. In comparison with other universities, social sciences subjects are treated critically, with diverse lectures and points of views (instead of a generic textbook). While is not perfect, there are a lot of critically minded individuals, but sometimes the students may be too influenced by the views of their professors (which may be a little annoying, if you ask me). There are a lot things -good and bad- to be said of such an institution, its administration, the academic offerings, the student culture depending on the faculty, the international opportunities, the political climate, among others. However, at least for me, it was the best college experience I had. So, thank you for that. ❤
