Friends and I went for dinner. The first thing I noticed missing from the menu was tempura dishes. There were sushi rolls with tempura shrimp. My friends ordered shrimp salad as appetizers while I ordered the edamame, we all enjoyed. Then we ordered a bunch of rolls, I got the california and special roll called the memaye (I think that's it's spelling, it's the fancy one in the front of my pic). The california roll was ok. The special roll, was tasty, and that's when I discovered the secret to the tempura only being in rolls. They use frozen breaded shrimp. The roll was still tasty, as it had cream cheese, mayo, mango sauce, and eel sauce, but the delicate crispness of tempura was replaced by a very solid crunch of breaded shrimp. Sushi places are not too common on the island so in a pinch i would return.

Good service. Nice small place. Fair sushi offering, good roll offering. Still, I think that there is something or aome things missing in their menu.
Ask for two uramaki rolls. One speciality (Tako Roll) and one regular (Shrimp Tempura). Tako roll was well presented in a wood plate. Couldn't fell the octopus, instead the predominant taste was the celery. Shrimp tempura was "over rolled". Felt a lot of nori inside the roll, it looked like a nori swirl in the inside. Very thin slices and about 5" long.
