Budget Car Rental

Not pleased w. fact that I had to drive on-site to extend rental (especially during busy travel day). Carmelo helpful and informative during initial car pick up. Lines were quite long during second encounter and took a bit of time even with combined Budget & Avis staff.

Would give them a 0 if I could. Long lines (Budget and Avis are together), and one person servicing customers, at the rate of 20 mins per customer. Pick Alamo or Enterprise.

Picking up the car (fast break) was as smoothly and as fast as possible. No line. Walked straight to the car. I will update after returning the car, but normally the picking up can be the most painful part renting a car. So far so good!! Recommended.

Extreme long and unreasonable wait! Over 1 hour. I flew in from NYC today to visit Puerto Rico. I made my reservation in advance with them a few weeks earlier. I thought getting the car would be a breeze one I get here. Wrong! I have been waiting on line for a service rep for over an hour! And still waiting. And guess what. There is only 1 person at the counter. There were 3 but they said they need to take break so 2 of them just disappear for an hour. Unbelievable. Never will I ever rent from Avis or Budget again to just save a few bucks. Total waste of time.
