Can't understand why all these negative reviews.... The people here are friendly and attentive, the car I had was practically brand new and so were most of the others on the lot. The place is small and busy but operates just fine and the price is hard to beat. Would come back here without hesitation

Despite all the bad reviews, I was treated excellent here. Quick check out and extremely nice employees. I was even given a map and recommended places to visit. During the check in process they were really busy. There were cars lined up down the driveway and out down the road for a ways. Had about 5-6 cars ahead of me and the whole process took less than 20 mins. The employee checking cars in and out was really working hard to make sure everyone was satisfied and processed quickly. I asked about the shuttle to the airport and the lady inside told me she had already notified him and he was on the way to pick us up. I returned outside just as he was arriving. He loaded everyone's bags into the back without throwing or banging them around and at airport curbside he unloaded all the luggage and made sure everyone had all their belongings. I will use Payless again next time we're on the island and just remembered, smile and be courteous. It goes a long ways.

They will PRESSURE you to buy their "FULL COVERAGE" which costs over $100. They will ask for your "insurance card" which most don't carry to a vacation destination. If you do have it, they will call your insurance company to see if you have rental coverage. If you have liability only, you wont have the coverage and they will pressure you to buy their full coverage. DON'T DO IT! Your credit card most likely covers the full coverage and you wont need to spend anything extra. THEY WILL PRESSURE YOU. YOU WONT HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE BUT TO GET THE FULL COVERAGE. I am glad I figured it out and AVOIDED A SCAM. You make sure to not fall for it.

I wish i could give 0 stars, but it was not possible. All the cars they have are beaten up with lot of miles and completely with dents, scratches. I think they might close down soon and don't want to invest in new cars.Worst customer service, and no patience to the lady who spoke on phone. Never again to this place. I made a mistake not checking the reviews before going there. IF at all you rent a car from them, don't forget to check it in and out before stepping out of gate. The car i rented was making squeaky noise with lot of dents and scratches.

The location is about 15 to 20 mins away from the airport. It took the shuttle 30 mins to pick us up. Customer service was fair. They kept trying to up the price by adding needless fees so be aware of that. Upon returning the car it took us 50 mins to get back to the airport. Several people were waiting for the shuttle and asked when it will arrive but the representatives at the counter were more occupied with themselves. First time using this company and definitely my last.
