Not honoring reservations because of a reservation "backlog". I went 1 hour early to talk to the front desk rep to confirm the car would be ready and he told me there just weren't enough cars at Hertz in San Juan so it would be a 2-2.5 hour delay to get my car. Try Target rent a car if you are looking for a better experience! They will pick you up from the Sheraton / OSJ and drop you at the airport the next day as well.

We reserved a car a week before arriving on a cruise. When we got off the ship (at 7:00am - as early as possible), we quickly walked to the rental office in the hotel. There were three families in front of us and they were completely out of cars. All of us had reservations. They said it would take an hour to get the cars (one at a time) from the airport because they only had one driver to transport them. There was nothing we could do - we had to leave. What's the point of a reservation if they can't/won't have cars ready?

Very convenient for the port, but we had to wait a long time to pick up our reserved car.

Julius Randle’s an All-Star due to leadership, Kobe Bryant-like work ethic

nypost.com - 59 minutes ago
There’s a difference between being a leading scorer and being an actual leader. That Julius Randle has grown from the former to the latter at the age of 26 is the reason why he will play in his first NBA All-Star Game on Sunday in Atlanta (8 p.m., TNT).

Take away de Blasio’s emergency COVID powers, too — and reduce his ability to sell out public interest

nypost.com - 1 hour ago
Hand it to city Comptroller Scott Stringer for catching out Mayor de Blasio in a bit of rank hypocrisy, by demanding he live up to his own stated principles on the need to end pandemic-emergency powers. De Blasio this month joined the chorus calling for
