The instructor, Brian, is fantastic! This is by far my favorite thing to do on this trip. Everyone in our group was successful, even someone who couldn't swim and who was terrified at first. Brian will bring the best out of you. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait to rent a board from these guys and get going again. Definitely worth it!

Being from California, I had tried surfing before, and never thought I could learn it - I never had any luck getting up on a board before and catching waves. Brian changed all that. Within a two-hour lesson, I got up at least ten times. Luquillo has a fantastic beach break that makes it really easy to catch waves, and they are not too big and intimidating. It was a great experience. Brian instinctively understands people's fears and mental blocks, and gives the right balance of gentle push/encouragement and praise. He is fantastic as a teacher. Highly recommended to anyone, and prices are more than fair!
