One of the most unprofessional companies I have ever worked with. After booking my ferry ride over three weeks in advance, and after receiving a confirmation email 24 hours before my trip, at 4:45pm the evening before my 7am trip I received another email cancelling my trip. No phone call, just an email that could have easily been missed due to the fact I was traveling. They claimed that it was due to a mechanical problem. That sounds like a very convenient excuse to not go to work on Easter Sunday on an island where everything shuts down on every holiday. They could have notified me at anytime before my trip date, allowing me to find another alternative. Not only do they have a monopoly on the ferry business to caja de muertos island, but because they informed me so late, we could not find another alternative on a date where everyone else shuts down as well. After receiving this email, I responded (like they asked) for a refund. After waiting for over a week, I called them. After calling twice, the lady rudely informed me that I had to call for a refund, that an email was not adequate. Sounds a little contradictory for a company that cancelled my trip via email 13 hours before I was to meet them.
