My stylist, Ashley, was awesome! I would not suggest going here if you have a complicated/daring haircut. I only got a trim and I have very thin straight hair. My haircut took an hour, which was what I expected judging by the other reviews. I went in and there was a man still getting his hair done when I walked out. His stylist seemed very frazzled and unsure what to do. The back of his head looked pretty rough. The stylists have check ins with their instructors, so there is always someone nearby. I went only because my friend had a $20 off any service coupon, so I got a free haircut. If you are on a budget and get one of these coupons, I would use it. But be cautious! Looks like this place can be a hit or miss depending on which student you get.

I have gotten my haircut here twice now and both times have been pleasant. Even though they are students they do a better job than most great/super clips kind of places. It does take a little longer, but it is worth it. Also the times I have been there it has been 50% off for students.

I wish I could give 0 stars......please do not waste your money at this establishment. I won't waste my time writing the whole story behind it. Extremely disappointing. Great clips is premier compared to this dump.

You get what you pay for...and I guess I earned my lesson. I showed up 5 minutes early to my appointment, to end up waiting for about 30 minutes - come to find out there was some mix up on my booking and finally a stylist brought me in. The instructor then tells me that I will have to chose either a highlight OR a cut (when my appointment was for both) because of my timing, which I had to wait for 30 minutes for their error. They agree to knock it down to a partial highlight instead of a full, but then charge me $10 extra because "I have long hair" so now I'm paying for a full highlight. 3.5 hours later, my stylist was as sweet as can be, but my highlights didn't cover up any of my roots and my hair is darker than it was before. (Not what I asked.) As I was checking out, the lady in front of me hadn't even had her full color washed out of her hair. That's $80 I could have put towards something much better, but as I said, you get what you pay for. My mistake! I won't be returning.

So I went in to get a color and it didn't turn out well. I called to see what could be done, and apparently it is their policy to fix anyone's hair for free if they are unhappy with the initial service. The second time around, my hair turned out exactly how I wanted and have no complaints! I'd recommend this place to anyone, especially if you just need a simple trim or overall color.
