We stayed at the Ritz for the day while waiting for our flight which was late evening. The Ritz was beautiful! The pool was well kept and the private beach was nice as well. We slept under an umbrella and enjoyed a nice lunch while there. The dessert was fantastic. The prices where high ($15 for 1 small drink) but this is to be expected at a hotel of that caliber. We enjoyed our short stay.

Excellent stay. Great staff. Excellent bed. Only downside was the poor quality sound isolation in the rooms. That could certainly be improved upon, but other than that, it was a great stay!!

Unfortunately the walls at this $750/night hotel are as paper thin as at Super 8. If you can't get a good night's sleep, not much else matters. The service was absolutely top notch, but that was the only exceptional thing about this property. The location is fine (close to the airport and the beach), but not in the greatest of neighborhoods. The room decor and bed comfort is perfectly average ... for a 3.5-star hotel, but it's nothing spectacular. I guess I expected more because of the high price. Nothing was particularly bad, but save your money and stay elsewhere.

At best this was a mid-level Marriott, and at $945 a night not worth 10% of that price. Rooms: Very dated, like from the 1970s. Wait staff on the beach was less than helpful. When they did actually help you, they acted as if you were a burden to them. Not all of them, but definitely some of them. Drinks: $18 for a drink seems a bit steep. The beach was very crowded as was the pool area. I wouldn't pay more than $100 a night.

My first ritz Carlton experience, the staff and amenities definitely live up to the expectation. Service was impeccable and check in/out was flexible. The staff was also very helpful and recommended really great local restaurants and attractions. During my visit here there were lots of families and tons of children. My only complaint was the breakfast. They charge 35$ per person and it wasn't that impressive of selection.
