Small but adequate air-conditioned rooms close to the beach. Lacking in other amenities, but you get what you pay for. Right across the street from the Marriott Stellaris, which is a common pickup spot for tour groups.

Cozy, friendly, with a nice little cafe on site. The beach is right there, not fancy, beds a little hard, but when you are there for the beach and not the resort, this is the spot! It is a great place to lay your head...

Great location! Small and a little rundown, but no major problems and I'd stay again. Sand gets EVERYWHERE, though

Good if you're on a budget. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant downstairs always closed early. Beach was right there but no view from window. Great rooftop terrace tho

Sandy Beach is centrally located, you can walk to plenty of great restaurants and shops. Great little hotel and the price cannot be beat. This hotel is steps away from the Marriott which is at least double the nightly rate. Literally steps away from the beach which is why we stayed at this hotel, and they will provide you with beach towels. Although they do not have chairs, you can rent them from a local guy (only $5 a day). The entire staff was very attentive and even let us check in at 9 am instead of 3. The bus stop is right in front. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to PR. $20 cab ride from the airport and $15 cab ride to Old San Juan (the bus is only .75 cents to Old San Juan). Only negative is the entrance, the ramp can be a little slippery. Thank you for a great stay Sandy Beach Hotel Staff. Hope to be back soon.
