Don't waste your time staying here! We booked a luxury deluxe suite! Waste of money! The floors was nasty! So please wear slippers! The toilet was nasty! One of the bathrooms had a leak so he smell just like urine in the room! The tub had mold around it! I called no one came to do anything! Neither did they move us to another room! We had to stop using that bathroom so we wouldn't get sick! The shower also had mold! The housekeeper came on the third day she didn't clean up anything only change towels in 1 bathroom! The refrigerator was nasty! The area was not nice! There is nothing in this area to do! You will waste so much money using a taxi!! O yea don't ride in Clemente taxi he will over charge you! This was suppose to be a great time for my birthday!! Thanks a lot Ciquala for ruining it!! We will be back to San Juan but will never stay here!

Do yourself a favor and spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. The first annoyance was that we couldn't find parking. As we circled the block, I called and was told that a door would open to the garage. When we got into the garage, it took several minutes to park as there were a few very tight fitting spaces. We all had to get out of the car and unpack the trunk so my husband could park. When we got to the front desk the lady casually mentioned that there was free valet. Why didn't they tell us there was @#$% free valet when I was on the phone trying to figure out where to park?! We were charged an extra $25 for an "extra person" (my kid) fee even though we paid for during booking. Once it was settled we were still told at checkout that the charge was upheld. So it was another fight. This place has ridiculous rules like no photography. Want to know why? All of their amenities are smaller and cheaper than advertised. We went to the pool area but I could not find the pool -- only a couple relaxing in a hot tub. It turns out that they were actually in a very tiny pool. There's no way I would let my kid jump in and play and ruin this couple's romantic evening. The sad part is she had been looking forward to getting in the pool. That's the only thing she wanted to do after we walked 6.5 miles around San Juan all day. Our original floor reeked of marijuana. The hotel manager very, very graciously upgraded us to a presidential suite after my husband complained about the smell, which was actually a fantastic room. Hands down, it was the best part. The "business center" is a laptop in a corner. The breakfast/restaurant area was full of bees. 3 times, the hotel staff chose to load all of their equipment and take the elevator rather than let us get on. One even asked which floor we were going to and then proceeded to get on the elevator and leave us waiting for the next one. Really unprofessional. Overall, I'm very unhappy with this experience. There's no way I would ever return. The only plus was the complimentary room upgrade.

Absolutely beautiful. They pay attention to DETAIL. From the moment you walk in the door of your suite you feel like all your needs have been anticipated. The room was clean, quiet and well stocked. I enjoyed my stay here immensely.

The hotel is very nice make sure to get what you saw on the website but the area is the worst it's best to pre plan your stay and include places like Old San Juan nice shopping and boat tour and El morro for kite flying food is good most places, be careful at night

If I could give 0 starts I would. They have to do their own surveys to even have a higher rating online. I smelled mold in the suite. There was hair on the sheets, which we found disgusting. The toilet was leaking when we first checked in. They sent in the handyman that quickly patched it and after a flush it went right back to constant leaking. At 3am on a Saturday the fire alarm was pulled and the sound went on for over 20 minutes. Didn't even get an apology from the front desk the next day while they wouldn't even answer the phone at the front desk when the sound was going on. The drinks are really expensive on the rooftop and not even that strong. Pool was the size of my tub at home (literally). All guests were amazingly surprised when they first came to the rooftop. This is false advertising. Complimentary breakfast was not great. When you first go in, there are 5-6 stairs and you have to carry luggage upward by lifting it, very inconvenient. The couch in the suite was old and dingy and the table lamps were literally tore up. So much for a modern look and the online pictures...not a match to reality. View was crappy and we had to hear a dog barking all day. Do yourself a favor: save your money, pay more and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
