The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area was nice with a swim up bar and live music. We arrived early from our cruise and were given our rooms before noon even though check-in is 4pm. Location is convenient near the airport and plenty of dining. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the occasional noise during the day by the pool from the airport, but I guess that's to be expected being so close. There were no noise problems at night.

Very courteous, friendly staff. Complimentary nachos and drinks by the pool and live music. Rooms are roomy and comfortabe... breakfast was great! Thanks for a great stay Picardo, Jose, Gilberto and Maria; you all were great from the beginning to the end. Continue to keep those great smiles and hospitality!!

Family friendly hotel. The front desk staff was great, especially Daniela! She gave us great information regarding tours and restaurants. They need to clean the rooms better, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling in the shower.

My room was nice and clean. They had a couple of bottles of water on the night stand which was great considering I had a long day, and didn't realize how dehydrated I was until I saw them. The bar by the pool closes at 10 on Thursdays, but you would have thought they were closed at 8:45 when I got there. There were three people sitting there with drinks already, and it still took 5-8 minutes for a bartender to even acknowledge me.

Clean and the hotel staff is competent but they don't show that Hampton inn hospitality that i have grown to love. I checked in with a promotional offer that waived the resort fee. They changed my reservation at check in and did not reinter the promo code so i lost it. In addition they charged me for daily parking in spite of me having a car. I got in late the day before my scheduled departure so i asked for a late check out, which is my privilege as a diamond member. The girl at the front desk told me that under their policy i had to call them early the morning of my departure and they would decide, on a first come first serve, whether or not they would allow me to check out at 1pm. Which of course would prevent me from sleeping in the day of my departure. As i said the hotel is clean and its right next door to the Cock fight arena. The beach and casinos are a few blocks away. You can't see the water from the hotel but it is with in walking distance.
