This hotel is in Old Town San Juan. Typical older building with character. The staff was wonderful. There is a restaurant on the roof too. Great location with easy access to shopping and some historical sites.

Excellent I planned a few days in San Juan before a cruise with family. We arrived late and the hotel I booked a suite with didn't have one, terrible situation. Nearly midnight when we got done with other horrible hotel. I literally walked in unannounced and Richard took great care of us. My kids 8 and 11 loved the hotel too great restaurant on roof. Everyone was very good but Richard was excellent he showed us the room first. If you are familiar with old San Juan the hotels are a little basic as they are converted houses on the little cobblestone looking streets. The Milano has a pretty welcome area with wood carved canopy and super clean restroom when you arrive. Though the rooms are also basic they are immaculate, the ac worked perfectly in both rooms as we decided to stay an extra night after the cruise too. The price was excellent. I would recommend the Milano and Richard to everyone. Lann Rubin II Wappingers falls NY

Room smells like mold and mildew, worried about sleeping in this room. puddle of water on the floor about 18 inches wide. Rooms door latch doesn't work. Light bulbs out in the bathroom. Not very impressed

The view was nice and the food was good (with some fun options like octopus-filled mofongo! It was very yummy), but the best thing about my dining experience was the service. The service provided by the manager, Marcos, and the servers was above and beyond my expectations. I have specific dietary needs, and the staff was so patient and accommodating. They also provided great recommendations for other local spots to check out. I highly highly recommend the Hotel Milano bar and restaurant.

Very hard to get a seat for big groups especially because you cannot reserve in advance, that being said it is very good Puerto Rican food with authentic mofongo for reasonable prices.
