I made a reservation for 2 nights and pre-paid for the room. The morning before my scheduled stay, my grandmother passed away in NYC and I was no longer able to leave town for my stay. When I contacted the hotel to let them know this, they refused to issue a credit for a future stay, or offer a partial refund or a full refund. They refused to budge on their cancellation policy. I understand that all companies have policies, but sometimes, these policies need to be a flexible for those life circumstances for the benefit of both their guests and staff. I will never stay here again (I travel to PR quite often) or at any other hotel in this chain, as this has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I had no issues with the airline or car rental that I also booked for this stay, they all understood and were very helpful. I'm very sad that this is how they choose to do business and treat their guests.

It is an OK place. You will be right across the beach so the balcony door can stay open for fresh sea air and the AC off. My visit was late January, keep that in mind. The beach across the street is not bathing beach too many rocks in the water not right or safe to bathe. You can go there and walk up and for quite a distance, but it is covered with garbage. The building is so close to the street that if you need to sleep late, it ain't gonna happen if you are a light sleeper with all the noise from the street as the is a traffic light right at the corner where the hotel sits.

My stay at this hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and was bilingual. The room was immaculate. The breakfast was a little bit more than I expected and was great. Everything was very clean. In addition, the area was safe and the perfect atmosphere for a family.

Rooms and service was fine. Pool hours need extending. 8pm closing should be 11pm or so so guests can enjoy the pool area.
