This Parador has reopened with remodeled rooms but maintaining its charm. It's a beautiful, peaceful place to retreat in nature. The personnel is friendly and helpful. There's a coffee shop with delicious lattes, sandwiches & desserts, however no sit down restaraunt for dining. If you want a place to get away from it all, this is a great choice!

What an amazing place with so much rich history. The staff is very knowledgeable and loves the place! I told my they reopened Hacienda Juanita and he started telling me stories of going there when he was a teenager. He is now 77 years old and his stories were wonderful to hear. Go visit and feel the history, tranquility and peaceful mountain air of Maricao. My Vacation Butlers

Excellent Hacienda, located within the mountainous town of Maricao. A/C is not necessary as the temperature is quite cool ( no mosquitoes : ) nonetheless the room had a nice ceiling fan. The staff is very professional and welcoming. The natural environment takes you away from the usual fast pace of the world.

Beautiful location near the Ruta Panoramica. Stopped in for lunch. Good deal on the lunch buffet. Really tasty coffee on site as well. Cool spot!
