I've been from the area my whole life and they always keep it clean and pretty, can't really help some vagabonds asking for money but it's a pretty calm area. The holidays have been getting better each years, this time bringing a carousel.

Christmas time is a great time to go with the family. Lots of lights and decorations. This year (2016) they have free carrousel. Also few inexpensive kid friendly machines. Last year they had a free ice skating which is great in mayague'z 80 degree weather.

Is a perfect place to just go to sit and talk next to the fountain. Every christmas they decorate it and put up some very cool attractions.
