John is an excellent host, this is his home, and it shows! Perfectly maintained, cozy, and comfortable, this a simple guest house (amenities-wise). It's not pretending to be more than 2 stars that it was given...but they treat you like you're in a 5-star resort. Breakfast is, again, simple, but good and plentiful. Looking for an advice from someone who surfs and has been calling Rincón his home for over 20 years? Just ask John. The place is 5 minutes (walking) down the hill to the first beach and about a 10-minute drive to town and many other beaches. We only could cover about 5-6 of them before we ran out of time 😁 Next time we're on thew west coast, we're staying here many more nights, for sure.

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Dos Angeles Del Mar Guesthouse. What a wonderful experience! John and Yolanda have a beautiful, CLEAN, well maintained guesthouse. Our room had a great view from a private balcony - we could see the ocean from the balcony and hear the waves. The pool area is very private and plenty of sunshine for lounging. The included breakfast each day had a good variety, including local fresh fruit. The innkeepers were very helpful in giving us guidance on great restaurant options, best beaches for sunbathing and swimming and "day trips" to interesting local sites. We were even able to go whale watching at a nearby beach! I highly recommend this Guesthouse to any traveler looking for comfortable, clean and friendly!!!!

I lived through NYC’s bad old days — and know Eric Adams will get the city back on track
