About the business

Home

I was born in West Virginia and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

I trained at Tri-State Barber College in 1974, bought a shop in Winchester, Virginia in 1980 and worked the Northern Virginia area since 1990. I opened this shop on July 1, 2003. When I'm not here I’m spending time on the water fishing.

Diane came here from Vietnam in 1990 and settled in Md. After graduating from Bladensburg Barber school in 1994 and working in DC, Diane joined our family here and will be celebrating 10 years as of 2015. When Diane is not around the shop,  you can usually find her running around being super mom to her kids.

Jeff was born and raised in York, Pa, trained at Harrisburg Barber School in 1974 and worked in York until he moved to Northern Virginia in 1994. As of Jan 2015 he will have been with our family for 8 yrs. Other then spending time with his friends and family you can usually find Jeff consumed and being super dad with his pups (aka his kids).

The guy that cut my hair was very nice, but does not know what a hard part is, nor did he know how to properly cut a fade. My cut was just a clean-up, so really he just needed to follow how my hair was styled, but instead, took too much off the top, combed it in some weird old fashion unlike how I came in and my fade was not even (longer in some sections than others on the sides and back). First time at this place. Will have to look for another barber

Nothing fancy. Good old style barber shop, talk if you want to, don't. All three barbers do a great job. Price can't be beat.

My family has been getting haircuts here since it opened. Everyone is friendly, haircuts are always good and consistent and prices are the best around. Highly Recommend giving them a try.
