This is one of the best Puerto Rican restaurants you will ever visit. The food is fantastic and the service is as well - ask for Hector. A shout out to Jorge as well; a hands on owner who makes sure everything is perfect. Thanks for a great visit guys!

The day I visit the restaurant, there's a private activity on the second floor. The place was packed. The wait, very long. However, food quality was not affected by this situation. Everything was delicious. I will return. Hopefully, there's not a private acitivity going on... 😃😃😃

Local cuisine conveniently next to old san juan ferry, however didn't get our order correct and wild dogs wandered the outside seating area.

My husband and I were taken to Contaño by a family member for lunch. They had good, staple Puerto Rican food. We are empanadas, arroz, y habichuelos. The food was bountiful and take home boxes were necessary. The service was so-so. Our waiter disappeared for quite some time and we had to track down someone else for mayo-ketchup and drink refills. However, this was a minor hiccup. If you're looking to get away from San Juan, this is a nice treat. We took the ferry for $0.50 each way. It's immediately outside of the port; it took us approximately two minutes to walk there. Very manageable for all people.
