Could be five stars with some work. Worth every penny. Absolutely loved everything. My one knock would be the food. Not nearly worth the value or quality I would expect. Everything about the resort is beyond beautiful. The private island, while not so private, is very nice. Water shoes suggested. My only negative of this stay was spending four hours on Palomino island and never being able to get a towel. Poor planning on the hotel's part.

Really nice rooms but the quality the resort provides isn't the amount you are expecting for the price you pay. Their private island doesn't have the greatest of beaches but lots of things that could be done. You could potentially spend a whole a there.

Rooms were ok for the price as we didn't get the ocean view one. Everything inside is expensive, but that is quite normal for any resort. There was a free boat service to the island and you can spend the time in beach or do some activity there. All in all wonderful resort.

Amazing resort. Gorgeous ocean views. Seven different pools.. Private island with a stunning beach and view and watersports. Villas as Las Casitas are roomy and comfortable for a family with small children. Only negatives were pricey services and spotty towel service at the pools.

Pretty good resort and nice people. Gave four stars because coffee mugs were not washed and still have stains when checked in.
