It is an old hotel, and it shows, particularly in old dirty carpets. You'll have to pay for parking $15 per day. They keep the AC blasting full power, and you can smell the humidity as soon as you walk in. My visit was at the end of January and was pretty fresh so I just kept the AC in the room off and the balcony door opened the whole time. The beach is more like and artificially man made beach with an artificial cove. The entire area is open sea, the kind one can not bathe on. You can walk from side to side in less than five minutes, and the surrounding area is all cliffs there is no walking down the beach at all. Did not got into the water so can not tell how good it was. You won't be able to see the sunrise over the ocean due to the angle of the coast but the sunset show fairly well. With all that said the pool areas are fantastic and seem to be particularly enjoyable for children and young people. The price I paid for the rooms was OK, particularly considering they will allow up to four people per room and they have a small sink with plates and utensils as well as a microwave and a mini fridge. A side note about the bathrooms, they do not have curved shower curtain rod as most other hotel do nowadays, and since I even have one of does in my house, it felt strange not to say disgusting touching the curtain with me arms when I was in the shower. All that said it seems like a perfect place for a family outing especially if you have young ones that can be kept busy by the fantastic pools. If you are looking for a place with a good beach, this isn't it.
