I lived in Ashburn as a little girl and my mother and I went to Cynthia's. When we moved away to Pennsylvania we tried getting our hair done there and had atrocious experiences. So we started traveling back to VA to see Cynthia again. We've been doing this for eleven years now and we wouldn't go to anyone else! Going to Cynthia's salon and having her do your hair will be one of the best decisions you will ever make because she is actually amazing at her craft.

I would highly recommend Cynthia's Salon & Spa for excellent service and the clean and friendly atmosphere. Great haircut and color using quality Goldwell products makes the color last. I will def recommend them.

I have been coming to Cynthia's Salon and Spa for about the past 3-4 years. Every visit to Cynthia's is a treat. Not only is the salon immaculate and tastefully decorated, but Cynthia and her staff are so very friendly and hospitable. No matter what service you come in for, the red carpet seems to be rolled out for just you! From the offer of coffee or tea and a small biscuit or pastry, they make you feel like a special guest. Cynthia is my stylist by choice and she always takes time to talk to me about what I want, whether it's a perm, color, or a cut & style. I've never left Cynthia's feeling anything but pleased with my experience, After shopping for the right salon, I'm blessed to have found it ... and so close to home!

I had just moved to Ashburn and picked Cynthias by review and was more than pleasantly surprised. I was treated like a new family member and received the best haircut ever. Usually after the cut I have to go home and wash and style my hair myself before I can go out, but Maryam not only cut my hair perfectly but also styled it so I could go out without doing anything to it. I also had a pedicure and manicure and again the service was outstanding. Recommend highly, it is nice to get spoiled

I wanted to get a pedicure, but didn't really want to pay over $30 for one. I was running errands in this plaza so I thought I'd check out the two salons in the plaza. The one down the street had $32 pedis. ehh, I decided to stop by Cynthia's and see what they had going on. Mani and pedi for $39.... I was sold. The service while I was there was ok... the people were nice there. Although... the person doing my nails had very long nails herself... and you don't realize until someone is playing with your feet that long fake nails does NOT feel good. Also weird--peeling skin off my feet with her long nails instead of just scrubbing with the file a little was just gross. But I could get past that. After my nails were done, they set me up to dry. The machine that was supposed to dry my feet ran for about 20 seconds, and the one drying my hands kept on running. I didn't notice any UV light--just heat as my nails were drying, which makes me wonder if that was the problem I had with my manicure--it didn't even last a few hours. The girl left me there (she was up at the front desk) and I wondered if she was ever going to tell me if I could leave. I finally got up, paid and left. She didn't even act like that was out of the ordinary. After my appointment, I went to get my hair done at a different salon and went out to dinner with friends. Didn't use my hands hardly at all... no heavy lifting... nothing. My manicure was ruined--every nail was chipped.. not just a little chip. BIG TIME... Looked as if I painted my nails myself with no base or top coat. Probably a quarter of the polish on each nail was gone in just a few hours. I kept noticing that pieces were falling off when I got home that night and proceeded to VERY easily grab the corner of the nail polish and peel it off in one swoop. I definitely am not impressed. My own manicures last longer than a day. :(
