Food is so delicious and such friendly staff. Great portions - a plate can feed you for days and is certainly too much for 2 people. Wait times do vary. Keep in mind this is not necessarily a fast food joint - 10 minute wait is the average. It doesn't say it's fast food so I'm not sure why some of the reviewers bash it as though it is. A great addition to this side of town. Have some gum or mints handy if you're going back to work afterwards!

I wish I could provide two ratings. The food would get 5 stars, but their logistics and processes 2-3 stars. Expect long lines (a sign of good food), but you may not get the plate you put together. I have watched them take my plate and give it to a delivery order. They are eager to please, but that comes at a cost. Hopefully as they mature, they develop better logistics.

Service is utterly terrible, the waits are completely unacceptable. If there is even one other person in line just go somewhere else because you're looking at at least a ten minute wait per person in front of you. Further more, you will smell like you worked a shift there just from waiting, the ventilation is terrible with a constant smoke haze inside. How Kingston Fire hasn't shut them down is mind boggling. If you don't die of old age in line the food is good. Ultimately though it isn't worth it, you might actually be able to drive to Ottawa, order, and drive back quicker.

Fantastic food and wonderful prices. First time I was there the staff seemed a tad abrupt but it was very busy. If this happens dont be swayed the good is worth it. Also I've been back several times that everyone was super friendly!

The food is always hot, delicious and prepared by someone who truly cares about customer service and the end product. And the prices are more than fair for the quantity and quality you're getting! Would recommend Shawarma El Mina without a doubt.
