Just had 4 day stay in the Cardiac Care Ward after heart attack last Sunday. FANTASTIC Nurses saw to my every need with compassion & concern. In fact all of the Staff I encountered were amazing! From the lovely cleaners & meal service staff all the way up to the Cardiologists were AMAZING! I hope to not see any of them any time soon but if I do I know I will be in the best of care! Thank you guys for everything!

I just love this hospital, every single time I have needed to go in I have felt cared for and listened to. I am so grateful for the kind and compassionate staff in maternity services and the chaplain staff who are just wonderful. Thank you for making a horrible time a little bit easier.

Have just had a stay on level 9 a for a week after surgery. I cannot praise the nurses on this ward highly enough. They went over and above for everyone in my room. Not one grumpy nurse, food service assistant or nurses aid amongst them during my stay and I was really comfortable. My Dr and his surgical assistant were brilliant as well ........BUT....
I wish that staff coming on during the night would realise there are people SLEEPING during the night and Drs having loud ,private, conversations and laughs on their mobiles while walking down the corridors at 1am and waking up patients is not acceptable, night staff yelling to each other down the corridor and carrying on around 3am and waking people up is not acceptable, Cleaners coming in at 5.30am onwards throwing buckets around and clanging and slamming doors etc is not right either. I understand that things need to get done but PLEASE be respectful to those of us who are sick and struggling to sleep properly as it is.

I was very surprised how the nurse said that I was supposed to see a GP to treat my super painful sinus infection at 3am on Sunday. Can’t believe how a GP is more appropriate than a hospital! Apparently, hospital are for greater treatment, such as, bleeding, broke bones or death threats. Also, they couldn’t give me any medication or take an X-ray! I left the hospital without nothing, waited for 2h with pain in my face! Felt like crying. Strange health system in Australia, didn’t like at all!

I stayed here for 3 nights in alot of pain. They admitted me almost immediately and kept me comfortable until surgery. I cant even begin to explain how wonderful the Nursing staff and Anaesthetic team were. It can be scary at your most vulnerable but they made me feel safe and really looked after me. Thanks again everyone.
