Went to get a certificate for time off work, almost didn’t get one - because apparently my chronic back pain that had flared up did not really qualify me as being sick! Then was asked if I really thought I needed two days off, despite alerting the Dr to the fact I work a ten hour day which involves me standing. I wonder how the Dr judged my current pain, ability and my work environment from the 5 minute consult? Without looking at my historical xrays, MRI all confirming I have a degenerative back condition? Just to confirm, I did not even try to get a script for pain relief because I know from experience its probably easier to get heroin than a script these days. I work in the medical industry and was a nurse. Ironically every patient I see seems to have an endless supply of pharmaceutical drugs and sick certificates. I do feel a bit mistreated and unfairly scrutinised. Unfortunately I don’t think I could go back to Elmwood and worry about my future prospects of finding another Dr / practice that isn’t always booked out.

Easy to make appointments, kind and very informative doctors that explain why they have come to a conclusion.

I've been coming hear for years, I will no longer be doing so. It's a shame as the Doctor's and Staff are great, but the waiting time's have become unacceptable. My last 5 visits have resulted in waiting for at least an hour and up to an hour and a half on 2 of those occasions. If that was rectified I'd happily return!

Wish I had read the reviews before booking. Still waiting and its an hour after my appointment time. If complex cases are constantly running overtime, which seems to be the feedback on every review, why arent more time allowed for appointments? So frustrating!!

Wait times are so ridiculous that there is no point in them taking appointments. Avoid this clinic if you can. My usual wait time is about an hour, the same as the walk in clinic I used to go to. So they may as well be a walk in clinic too because their appointmwnt system is a joke. It causes me to avoid the doctors even though I have serious health problems that require regular visits. I was on time for my appointment the other day and the doctor still took in several patients before me and I wasn't seen until an hour after my appointment time. That really is unacceptable and will try find a new clinic to go to now
