We recently moved into a new house and decided to install 3 split system aircons. I got five different companies to give me a quote and they varied and the brands offered also varied. We decided to go with Shane from Tonna who matched the best quote we had and he topped it off by giving us Daikin brand (which is a great brand!). We were going to go with Mitsubishi or Fujitsu (also really good and reliable brands but a fraction cheaper than Daikin) but couldn't pass the opportunity to get Daikin.
Apart from great price we were very happy with the whole service. Shane was happy to explain everything and answer every question and we had many and what was very important to us he wasn't putting any pressure on us and was very patient. Most times Shane answered the call and if we had to call back it was always on the same day and often within 10-15 minutes.
Steve the installer stopped by our house two days before installation to check everything out and to come prepared. He said he’d come at 8am and he was at our house at 8 am and he finished when he said would finish. I’ve never seen anything like this when it comes to tradesmen. Extremely professional, courteous, happy to explain everything and punctual. Highly recommend Tonna.
With my Brivis ducted heater replacement the Sales team at Tonna heating and cooling would not match the price from other contractor quote - only dropped $50 on a $2500 job. However, the other contractor did have a high amount of negative reviews, so I decided to go on a gut feeling & go with Tonna heating and cooling.
The guys at Tonna Heating and coiling did a fantastic job, they were friendly, highly skilled and tidy. Even though we got some rain on the day of the install they managed to get the job done between some dry patches. They then spent some time showing me how to correctly operate the unit upon completion. Overall I am very happy with my experience from Tonna heating and cooling and I would use them again for any future work.
Incredibly frustrating to deal with, I would look elsewhere
Very poor service. The sales person who answered the phone would not commit to nominating a day that the technician would arrive; the best I got was that the technician would arrive 'some time next week'.
As someone who works full-time, I simply cannot remain at home each morning in anticipation of a technician arriving.
I went somewhere else where they were much more in tune with customer requirements.
The worst experience ever!
The sales person that quoted planned for insufficient vents based on our sized home.
Every year the ducts came apart from the heating unit as they had not connected correctly initially.
Tonna tried to blame everyone but accept responsibility.
7 years later... constant grief.
Avoid avoid.... we are so disappointed in tbe $7k we spent and we are still cold!!!!
Worst trade experience and completely unsatisfactory... beware... theyll make up sooo many excuses.
Call the suppliers direct and you will soon figure out the lies!
Disgraceful... should not be trading.
Even tried telling us that Braemar models had changed when they hadnt.
Do not do not do not get these people involved in any installation.
