Well organized & stocked shelves, etc. Staff are friendly/helpful have a good knowledge of stock. It's a good place for trendy cheap household items/clothes, small elec appliances etc.

Great variety at low competitive prices. Much better than their main rival, Big W. Instead of cutting lines, Kmart seems to be adding them. Only problem is the new layout of the store makes NO SENSE. You pay in the middle of the store then are subject to bag checks on what you've already paid for. Seems like more of a hassle for both staff and customers. Having the registers at the exit makes more sense, that way Security can focus on those leaving the state without purchases, this reducing shrinkage. Security checks are missed, which means higher prices in the end for customers. Also, the staff don't seem to know the State and Federal Legislation relating to Assistance / Service Dogs. I saw one customer harassed with her obvious Assistance Dog (it had an appropriately marked harness and it was a Labrador).

My closest Kmart is an hour away and when I get a chance to shop there I enjoy finding everything I need and want in one place. I love Kmart!

Nice range of items and decent staff but I don't like the new layout with the registers down near the back.

Fine, staff are a little hard to find But when you can find them they all have new walkie-talkies to help you find what you need
