Cannot speak high enough about the Food i had delivered from Poons on Friday the 9th March. It was Fantastic. Also delivered on time by a very pleasant girl who spoke great English.. I would not hesitate to order from this Restaurant again.
Beautiful food. Good service. Staff are very polite and helpful. You dont wait long for meals. I would recommend this restaurant to amyone.
Cash only? Are you serious?? In this day and age? EFTPOS merchant fees have come way down lately yet Poons still doesn’t offer it? Absolutely ridiculous. They even still have the ‘American Express’ branded bill trays - was this from a time when they did accept credit cards?? I’m aware there is an ATM on site which does make it easier - however I was charged a classic fee for using it of course. So I have to pay an ATM fee because the merchant won’t pay a possible maximum $0.10 eftpos fee? Great. Thanks. Good food though and the service was fast.
Poons has been a family favourite since I can remember. Fantastic service and food and such a friendly environment! The hot towel at the end is the perfect ending touch!
Ordered from here based on all the great reviews but found almost all the dishes we ordered were very bland. Really not the flavorsome chinese food I had expected. Things were well cooked and the mongolian beef was incredibly tender. Overall it was a bit of a disappointing experience.
